Genome BC applies the power of genomics to solve pressing societal, environmental and economic challenges in the areas of human health, agriculture, forestry, mining, environment, energy and fisheries. We do this by:
- Investing in world class research and managing complex translation and innovation projects
- Providing access to technology platforms
- Driving the adoption and implementation of genomics
- Fostering commercialization and translation partnerships for entrepreneurs, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and other end-users
- Partnering strategically with regional, national and international partners and
- Providing proactive leadership on the impacts of genomics and societal engagement.
