D\u2019autres scientifiques, dont <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dnaftb.org\/19\/bio-3.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rosalind Franklin<\/a> et <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dnaftb.org\/19\/bio-4.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maurice Wilkins<\/a>, ont \u00e9galement contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 cette perc\u00e9e. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La d\u00e9couverte, vraisemblablement l\u2019une des plus importantes du 20<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle, a r\u00e9solu un myst\u00e8re fondamental sur la fa\u00e7on dont les organismes vivants transmettent les instructions g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration en g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, ce qui a ult\u00e9rieurement permis \u00e0 des chercheurs de comprendre le code g\u00e9n\u00e9tique. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La Journ\u00e9e de l\u2019ADN marque \u00e9galement la fin, en avril&nbsp;2003, du Projet du g\u00e9nome humain, un projet international de recherche scientifique qui nous a permis de lire le plan g\u00e9n\u00e9tique int\u00e9gral de la nature pour la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un \u00eatre humain.<\/p>\n<p>Les chercheurs canadiens en g\u00e9nomique se fondent sur ces d\u00e9couvertes fondamentales et leurs progr\u00e8s aident \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre des probl\u00e8mes biologiques complexes dans des secteurs aussi diversifi\u00e9s que la sant\u00e9, l\u2019agriculture et l\u2019agroalimentaire, la foresterie, les p\u00eaches et l\u2019aquaculture, l\u2019environnement, l\u2019\u00e9nergie et les mines.
