Canada mobilisera le pouvoir de la technologie g\u00e9nomique pour trouver des solutions naturelles \u00e0 la lutte contre les ravageurs, \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction de l\u2019impact environnemental et \u00e0 la promotion de la p\u00e9rennit\u00e9.<\/p><p>Annonc\u00e9 en avril 2023, <a href=\"https:\/\/genomecanada.ca\/fr\/les-investissements-de-genome-canada-stimulent-la-recherche-developpement-de-pointe-en-sante-la-viabilite-de-lenvironnement-et-la-resilience-en-agriculture\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>un nouvel investissement de 56,7\u00a0millions de dollars<\/strong><\/a> servira \u00e0 financer la toute derni\u00e8re s\u00e9rie de projets du PPAG, des projets de recherche-d\u00e9veloppement (R-D) \u00e0 un stade avanc\u00e9, r\u00e9alis\u00e9s pour r\u00e9soudre des difficult\u00e9s et saisir des possibilit\u00e9s concr\u00e8tes, notamment un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ogvg.com\/contact\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Niki Bennett<\/strong><\/a> (Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers) d\u00e9velopperont, homologueront et commercialiseront un acaricide biologique \u00e0 l\u2019empreinte \u00e9cologique r\u00e9duite, une solution de rechange aux insecticides chimiques de synth\u00e8se, pour lutter contre les flamb\u00e9es de t\u00e9tranyque \u00e0 deux points qui menacent particuli\u00e8rement la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des cultures en raison de la r\u00e9sistance de cet acarien aux pesticides habituels. La lutte contre les ravageurs est une priorit\u00e9 absolue pour le secteur canadien de l\u2019horticulture en serre qui fournit des produits frais toute l\u2019ann\u00e9e. Con\u00e7u pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer l\u2019impact social et \u00e9conomique de la g\u00e9nomique, le PPAG offre un espace o\u00f9 la recherche, l\u2019innovation et l\u2019application peuvent prosp\u00e9rer dans la collaboration. Ce tout dernier investissement important marque <strong>le financement du 100<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0projet dans le cadre du PPAG et le 10<sup>e<\/sup>\u00a0anniversaire du programme<\/strong> dont les investissements totaux repr\u00e9sentent, \u00e0 ce jour, environ <strong>477,1\u00a0millions de dollars<\/strong>, dont <strong>17,9\u00a0millions de dollars<\/strong> au cours du dernier exercice financier de 2022-2023. Les projets du PPAG sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9s pour r\u00e9soudre des difficult\u00e9s ou saisir des possibilit\u00e9s bien r\u00e9elles par une collaboration accrue entre les chercheurs en g\u00e9nomique et les utilisateurs de la recherche dans ce domaine.
