Le Canada a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une force de calibre mondial dans cette science r\u00e9volutionnaire et ce secteur \u00e9conomique majeur gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 plus de 20\u00a0ans d\u2019investissements.<\/p><p>Aujourd\u2019hui, l\u2019honorable Greg\u00a0Fergus, secr\u00e9taire parlementaire du premier ministre et du pr\u00e9sident du Conseil du Tr\u00e9sor, a annonc\u00e9 la cr\u00e9ation de neuf nouvelles \u00e9quipes interdisciplinaires de d\u00e9fi (EID), compos\u00e9es de chercheurs de toutes les disciplines, dont les projets permettront de traduire la recherche et l\u2019innovation en g\u00e9nomique en solutions durables \u00e0 l\u2019appui des producteurs canadiens et d\u2019un syst\u00e8me alimentaire et de cha\u00eenes d\u2019approvisionnement nationaux r\u00e9silients.<\/p><h3><span style=\"color: #013a80;\"><a style=\"color: #013a80;\" href=\"https:\/\/fb.me\/e\/1qqe1oYYq\">Regardez le lancement des EID<\/a> | <a style=\"color: #013a80;\" href=\"https:\/\/genomecanada.ca\/canada-invests-in-world-leading-climate-smart-agriculture-and-food-systems-through-genomics\/#projects\">Explorez les nouvelles EID<\/a><\/span><\/h3><div>\u00a0<\/div><p>Les EID sont une composante essentielle de l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/genomecanada.ca\/fr\/domaines-defis\/production-bioalimentaire-durable-et-adaptee-au-climat\/\"><strong>initiative Production bioalimentaire durable et adapt\u00e9e au climat<\/strong><\/a> (PBDAC), lanc\u00e9e en mai\u00a02022 sous l\u2019\u00e9gide de G\u00e9nome Canada, qui r\u00e9duira l\u2019empreinte carbone des syst\u00e8mes de production alimentaire du Canada en renfor\u00e7ant leur r\u00e9silience, leur durabilit\u00e9 environnementale et leur potentiel de croissance \u00e9conomique. Il est important de noter que le portefeuille des EID de l\u2019initiative PBDAC sera soutenu par le <a href=\"https:\/\/genomecanada.ca\/fr\/des-investissements-de-genome-canada-ciblent-des-solutions-pour-une-production-bioalimentaire-durable-et-adaptee-au-climat\/#data\"><strong>Centre des donn\u00e9es<\/strong><\/a> et le <a href=\"https:\/\/genomecanada.ca\/fr\/funding\/initiative-production-bioalimentaire-durable-et-adaptee-au-climat-possibilite-de-financement-dun-centre-de-coordination-de-la-mobilisation-et-de-la-mise-en-oeuvre-des-connaissances\/\"><strong>Centre de mobilisation des connaissances<\/strong><\/a> afin de relier les efforts entre les projets et de maximiser l\u2019incidence nationale du portefeuille.<\/p><p>Avec un investissement de pr\u00e8s de 27 millions de dollars dans les EID de la part du gouvernement du Canada et un investissement suppl\u00e9mentaire de 42 millions de dollars de la part des partenaires de cofinancement, l\u2019annonce d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui repr\u00e9sente un investissement total de pr\u00e8s de 70 millions de dollars dans un avenir plus durable pour la production bioalimentaire au
