La g\u00e9n\u00e9tique de l\u2019embryon lui-m\u00eame entra\u00eene dans au moins 85 % des cas, le taux \u00e9lev\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9chec en ce qui concerne l\u2019implantation des embryons transf\u00e9r\u00e9s et les grossesses \u00e0 terme. Malgr\u00e9 le co\u00fbt, soit environ 20 000 $ par cycle, les cliniciens ne disposent actuellement pas de la technologie n\u00e9cessaire pour r\u00e9aliser des tests g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques complets sur les embryons.<\/p><p>Un nouveau projet, dirig\u00e9 par Jeremy Grushcow de Juniper Genomics et de la Dre Sophie Petropoulos de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al, vise \u00e0 \u00e9laborer un test g\u00e9n\u00e9tique complet de s\u00e9quen\u00e7age du g\u00e9nome entier \u00e0 partir d\u2019une seule cellule pour les embryons afin de donner aux patientes et aux cliniciens de la FIV autant de certitude que possible que le premier embryon qu\u2019ils d\u00e9cident de transf\u00e9rer sera une r\u00e9ussite.<\/p><p>Le projet, intitul\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/genomecanada.ca\/fr\/project\/sequencage-du-genome-entier-de-lembryon-en-vue-dameliorer-les-resultats-de-la-fiv\/\">S\u00e9quen\u00e7age du g\u00e9nome entier de l\u2019embryon en vue d\u2019am\u00e9liorer les r\u00e9sultats de la FIV<\/a>, et dirig\u00e9 en partenariat avec Juniper Genomics, d\u00e9veloppera un flux de travail \u00e9volutif pour l\u2019analyse des biopsies par la manipulation des cellules et la pr\u00e9paration d\u2019\u00e9chantillons donnant des r\u00e9sultats de s\u00e9quen\u00e7age optimaux de mani\u00e8re rentable. Les projets de PPAG s\u2019attaquent \u00e0 des probl\u00e8mes et saisissent des possibilit\u00e9s concr\u00e8tes par une collaboration accrue entre les chercheurs en g\u00e9nomique et les utilisateurs de leurs travaux.
