Ces plateformes appuieront l\u2019infrastructure technologique de la g\u00e9nomique dans des installations et des r\u00e9seaux partout au Canada et continueront d\u2019offrir aux chercheurs l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des technologies de pointe en g\u00e9nomique.<\/p><p>L&rsquo;infrastructure fournie par ces installations s\u2019\u00e9tend de la m\u00e9tabolomique \u00e0 la biodiversit\u00e9 et fait partie d\u2019une enveloppe de financement plus importante \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/genomecanada.ca\/fr\/de-nouvelles-recherches-en-genomique-fournissent-des-solutions-durables-aux-problemes-de-sante-publique-denvironnement-et-de-securite-alimentaire\/\">plus de 41 M$<\/a> \u2013 annonc\u00e9e en mai 2024. Les plateformes sont les suivantes :<\/p><ul><li>Le <a href=\"https:\/\/genomecanada.ca\/fr\/project\/investissement-dans-le-centre-for-biodiversity-genomics\/\">Centre for Biodiversity Genomics<\/a> (CBG) est dirig\u00e9 par Paul Hebert (University of Guelph). Le CBG fournit actuellement deux services analytiques cl\u00e9s \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 scientifique de la biodiversit\u00e9 : l\u2019informatique et le s\u00e9quen\u00e7age. Cet investissement d\u2019un peu plus d\u2019un million de dollars permettra \u00e0 l\u2019unit\u00e9 d\u2019innovation de CBG d\u2019intensifier ses efforts pour \u00e9laborer les protocoles de laboratoires et les syst\u00e8mes informatiques n\u00e9cessaires pour tirer parti des capacit\u00e9s offertes par les s\u00e9quenceurs d\u2019ADN miniatures mis au point par Oxford Nanopore Technologies.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/genomecanada.ca\/fr\/project\/investissement-dans-cgen\/\">CGEn<\/a>, la plateforme nationale du Canada pour le s\u00e9quen\u00e7age et l\u2019analyse du g\u00e9nome, exploite des sites \u00e0 la Hospital for Sick Children sous la direction de Stephen W. Scherer et Lisa Strug, au Canada\u2019s Michael Smith Genome Sciences Centre de Vancouver sous la direction de Steven Jones, et \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 McGill sous la direction de Ioannis Ragoussis. La croissance de CGen, fond\u00e9e en 2015, est ax\u00e9e sur le d\u00e9veloppement de technologies qui r\u00e9pondent \u00e0 la demande de la communaut\u00e9 scientifique et qui s\u2019alignent sur les principaux domaines de croissance des services existants et \u00e9mergents de CGEn. Ce financement de pr\u00e8s de 3,4 M$ permettra de poursuivre cette croissance, notamment (i) le s\u00e9quen\u00e7age \u00e0 lecture longue (Long-read) et l\u2019analyse et l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation des donn\u00e9es connexes; (ii) la g\u00e9nomique unicellulaire pour produire des donn\u00e9es sur des cellules individuelles \u00e0 partir d\u2019une population cellulaire; (iii) la transcriptomique spatiale pour comprendre la biologie intracellulaire \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019informations int\u00e9gr\u00e9es, menant finalement \u00e0 une cartographie cellulaire tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cise et de sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 tissulaire; et (iv) le s\u00e9quen\u00e7age \u00e0 lecture courte (Short-read) ax\u00e9 sur l\u2019\u00e9valuation et la validation de nouvelles technologies.<\/li><li>Le <a href=\"https:\/\/genomecanada.ca\/fr\/project\/metabolomics-innovation-centre\/\">Metabolomics Innovation Centre<\/a> (TMIC) est l\u2019installation de base nationale de recherche et de services en m\u00e9tabolomique du Canada; il exploite neuf sites dans quatre provinces diff\u00e9rentes. David Wishart et Liang Li dirigent les sites \u00e0 la University of Alberta et Christoph Borchers est bas\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 McGill. Dot\u00e9 de pr\u00e8s de 1,5 M$, le TMIC poursuivra le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019une s\u00e9rie de nouveaux outils m\u00e9tabolomiques, notamment des essais conformes \u00e0 la norme ISO pour la sant\u00e9 humaine et animale, des essais \u00e9largis pour mesurer l\u2019exposition aux produits chimiques environnementaux et alimentaires, de nouveaux essais pour \u00e9valuer l\u2019exposition \u00e0 une grande vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de mycotoxines, et des techniques pour mesurer les m\u00e9tabolites dans des environnements \u00e0 faible nombre de cellules ou m\u00eame \u00e0 cellule unique.<\/li><li>Les <a href=\"https:\/\/genomecanada.ca\/fr\/project\/investissement-dans-les-services-integres-glyconet-sig\/\">Services int\u00e9gr\u00e9s GlycoNet<\/a> (SIG) sont dirig\u00e9s par Warren Wakarchuk de la University of Alberta. Ils ont re\u00e7u plus d\u2019un million de dollars envers leurs travaux visant \u00e0 mobiliser les outils et l\u2019expertise canadiens en glycomique afin de doter les chercheuses et chercheurs et les partenaires en glycomique des outils de synth\u00e8se, d\u2019analyse et de d\u00e9tection \u00e0 haut rendement n\u00e9cessaires pour entreprendre de la recherche transformatrice dans le domaine de la glycomique et favoriser l\u2019innovation.<\/li><\/ul><p>Les plateformes de d\u00e9veloppement technologique font partie de l&rsquo;infrastructure de base \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine du succ\u00e8s des projets ax\u00e9s sur la g\u00e9nomique au Canada.
