De telles variations peuvent \u00eatre li\u00e9es \u00e0 des r\u00e9sultats compl\u00e8tement diff\u00e9rents chez deux patients ayant re\u00e7u le m\u00eame diagnostic de maladie ou le m\u00eame traitement.  <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La capacit\u00e9 de proc\u00e9der au s\u00e9quen\u00e7age de tout le g\u00e9nome humain \u2014 \u00e0 l\u2019aide de m\u00e9thodes plus rapides et moins co\u00fbteuses que jamais \u2014 nous permet d\u2019\u00e9tudier et de traiter des probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 en nous basant sur cette variabilit\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9tique. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alors que nous disposons de technologies d\u2019IA de plus en plus sophistiqu\u00e9es, nous pouvons d\u00e9sormais interpr\u00e9ter et utiliser les donn\u00e9es g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es par le s\u00e9quen\u00e7age g\u00e9nomique plus rapidement et plus efficacement dans le but de comprendre le corps humain et d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la sant\u00e9 des individus. <\/span><b>Mais o\u00f9 trouvons-nous ces donn\u00e9es?<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-93644ed elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"93644ed\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><b>Des chercheurs et des organismes canadiens de tous les secteurs travailleront ensemble dans le cadre de<\/b> <b><a href=\"https:\/\/genomecanada.ca\/fr\/domaines-defis\/initiative-canadienne-de-sante-de-precision\/\">l\u2019initiative de s\u00e9quen\u00e7age du g\u00e9nome humain<\/a> la plus ambitieuse de l\u2019histoire canadienne,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> soit proc\u00e9der au s\u00e9quen\u00e7age de 100 000 g\u00e9nomes au cours des quatre prochaines ann\u00e9es dans le but de stimuler le secteur des soins de sant\u00e9 de pr\u00e9cision et le leadership du Canada en ce qui a trait aux innovations en sant\u00e9.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-468b5ea elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"468b5ea\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>\u00c0 l\u2019heure actuelle, 12 projets de recherche fondamentale commencent leurs travaux de s\u00e9quen\u00e7age du g\u00e9nome humain \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle du pays. <\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En raison de la nature des projets, ceux-ci produiront tous ensemble une base de donn\u00e9es g\u00e9nomiques \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle qui sera repr\u00e9sentative de la diversit\u00e9 de la population canadienne. Les projets fourniront la mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re des travaux novateurs optimis\u00e9s par l\u2019IA que m\u00e8nent l\u2019industrie et des universitaires canadiens. Par ailleurs, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la diversit\u00e9 de ces donn\u00e9es, tout le monde pourra profiter des perc\u00e9es et des solutions qui d\u00e9couleront des projets. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chaque projet a \u00e9tabli des objectifs bien pr\u00e9cis pour les donn\u00e9es qu\u2019il g\u00e9n\u00e8re, que ce soit de permettre \u00e0 un plus grand nombre de Canadiens atteints d\u2019une maladie rare d\u2019obtenir un diagnostic qu\u2019ils attendent depuis longtemps ou d\u2019am\u00e9liorer les traitements des maladies cardiovasculaires. Ces travaux contribueront d\u00e8s maintenant \u00e0 faire progresser les soins de sant\u00e9 de pr\u00e9cision. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fait tout aussi important, les 100 000 g\u00e9nomes g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s par les projets seront mis en commun dans une base de donn\u00e9es nationale s\u00e9curis\u00e9e, accessible aux chercheurs universitaires et \u00e0 l\u2019industrie; ces derniers s\u2019en serviront pour relever d\u2019innombrables d\u00e9fis m\u00e9dicaux et obtenir un portrait plus complet de la g\u00e9n\u00e9tique de la population canadienne. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Certains pays ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 entrepris des initiatives de s\u00e9quen\u00e7age du g\u00e9nome humain \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle. C\u2019est maintenant au tour du Canada de se lancer dans cette aventure. <\/span><\/p><p><strong>Notre pays se trouve \u00e0 un point tournant alors que nous observons des besoins nouveaux ou changeants en ce qui a trait \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9conomie et \u00e0 la souverainet\u00e9 sur le plan de la sant\u00e9. Cette initiative de s\u00e9quen\u00e7age contribuera donc \u00e0 \u00e9tablir la souverainet\u00e9 des donn\u00e9es du Canada en produisant une base de donn\u00e9es nationale s\u00e9curis\u00e9e pour
