Sa mise au point de nouveaux algorithmes et de nouvelles m\u00e9thodes d\u2019analyse de donn\u00e9es pang\u00e9nomiques est lefondement de grandes collaborations en recherche et des projets qui y sont ex\u00e9cut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Le TCAG a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 en&nbsp;1998; depuis la cr\u00e9ation de G\u00e9nome Canada en 2001, il est un Centre d\u2019innovation de science et de technologie et par le pr\u00e9sent octroi, il devient dor\u00e9navant membre du R\u00e9seau d\u2019innovation g\u00e9nomique. Situ\u00e9 au Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning \u00e0 l\u2019H\u00f4pital pour enfants maladies (SickKids), le TCAG se concentre principalement sur les projets qui s\u2019int\u00e9ressent aux donn\u00e9es pang\u00e9nomiques. Il assure des services par le truchement de quatre installations de base&nbsp;: s\u00e9quen\u00e7age de l\u2019ADN; informatique et biostatistique; puces \u00e0 ADN et g\u00e9notypage; cytog\u00e9nomique et mise en banque de mat\u00e9riel biologique. Les technologies offertes au TCAG comprennent le s\u00e9quen\u00e7age g\u00e9n\u00e9tique \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit; l\u2019analyse pang\u00e9nomique de l\u2019ADN et de l\u2019expression des g\u00e8nes; l\u2019analyse des chromosomes (cytog\u00e9nomique) et l\u2019analyse g\u00e9n\u00e9tique \u00e0 haut d\u00e9bit. Ces technologies sont appuy\u00e9es par le s\u00e9quen\u00e7age de l\u2019ADN traditionnel, l\u2019analyse cibl\u00e9e de g\u00e8nes donn\u00e9s, la synth\u00e8se de fragments particuliers de l\u2019ADN pour des essais sp\u00e9cifiques et la mise en banque d\u2019\u00e9chantillons de sang, de lign\u00e9es cellulaires et d\u2019ADN.<\/p>\n<p>En plus de ces services, le TCAG participe activement \u00e0 recherche-d\u00e9veloppement de nouvelles m\u00e9thodes novatrices d\u2019analyse g\u00e9nomique, en particulier l\u2019examen des variations g\u00e9nomiques entre des humains et l\u2019interaction des g\u00e8nes dans les r\u00e9seaux et les voies qui est la source de maladies.
