La similitude des g\u00e9nomes murins et des g\u00e9nomes humains permet aux chercheurs d\u2019\u00e9tudier ces interactions chez les souris pour comprendre le fonctionnement des g\u00e8nes, d\u00e9terminer quelles mutations causent les maladies et mettre au point de meilleurs traitements.<\/p>\n<p>Le Toronto Centre for Phenogenomics (TCP) est la plus grande installation au Canada \u00e0 offrir aux chercheurs les comp\u00e9tences sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es et les services dont ils ont besoin pour cr\u00e9er des souris aux mutations particuli\u00e8res et \u00e9tudier leurs ph\u00e9notypes. Il cr\u00e9e plus de 250&nbsp;de ces mod\u00e8les murins annuellement. Le TCP cr\u00e9e et distribue les mod\u00e8les murins pour les chercheurs et les aide \u00e0 les analyser \u00e0 l\u2019aide des tests utilis\u00e9s chez les humains, par exemple des tests de vision et l\u2019imagerie m\u00e9dicale. Il offre aussi des services aux soci\u00e9t\u00e9s qui d\u00e9veloppent de nouveaux m\u00e9dicaments.<\/p>\n<p>Le TCP offre entre autres les services suivants&nbsp;: consultation et aide d\u2019experts pour que les chercheurs puissent ex\u00e9cuter efficacement leurs projets de recherche; conception et production de mod\u00e8les mutants en fonction de besoins scientifiques pr\u00e9cis; analyse de mod\u00e8les murins, dont l\u2019identification des anomalies et l\u2019\u00e9tude de la fa\u00e7on dont les mutations influencent la structure des tissus et causent les maladies; services de cryoconservation et de distribution au moyen de technologies d\u2019avant-garde soumises \u00e0 des contr\u00f4les de qualit\u00e9 rigoureux; services informatiques pour donner aux clients acc\u00e8s en ligne \u00e0 la conception des projets, au contr\u00f4le de la qualit\u00e9 et \u00e0 l\u2019analyse des donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Le TCP appuie d\u2019excellents travaux de recherche, aide les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s \u00e0 r\u00e9ussir, forme du personnel hautement qualifi\u00e9 et lui assure un emploi, dans le but ultime toujours d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la sant\u00e9 humaine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Les interactions complexes des g\u00e8nes (g\u00e9notype) et des traits physiques (ph\u00e9notypes) caract\u00e9risent les maladies humaines.
