Des facteurs tels que la diminution des ressources en eau douce, la hausse des prix de l\u2019\u00e9nergie et la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d\u2019adapter les cultures aux pressions d\u2019un climat mondial plus sec, plus chaud et plus extr\u00eame que par le pass\u00e9 viennent aggraver la situation. Indigo Agriculture s\u2019associe avec MM. Vladimir Vujanovic et Jim Germida, des universitaires reconnus de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de la Saskatchewan, qui ont d\u00e9couvert une nouvelle classe de microbes naturels qui peuvent consid\u00e9rablement am\u00e9liorer le rendement des cultures et la r\u00e9sistance au stress. L\u2019\u00e9quipe du projet utilisera les outils de la g\u00e9nomique pour \u00e9valuer et mettre syst\u00e9matiquement \u00e0 l\u2019essai sur le terrain diverses combinaisons cultures\u00admicrobes au fort potentiel de commercialisation.
