Nous pr\u00e9voyons que notre r\u00e9seau g\u00e9n\u00e9tique et d\u2019autres projets sur la g\u00e9nomique fonctionnelle de la levure m\u00e8neront \u00e0 une meilleure compr\u00e9hension du fondement des maladies g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques et de la d\u00e9couverte de nouveaux compos\u00e9s qui pourraient \u00eatre utiles dans le traitement des troubles prolif\u00e9rants, tels que le cancer.<\/li>\n<li>Le projet d\u2019annotation fonctionnelle du g\u00e9nome de la souris a propuls\u00e9 les travaux canadiens en g\u00e9nomique de la souris \u00e0 l\u2019avant\u00adplan dans ce domaine en croissance rapide et de plus en plus important. Notre \u00e9quipe a produit des mod\u00e8les murins pour des maladies humaines comme la n\u00e9phropathie et l\u2019ost\u00e9oporose, a mis au point de nouveaux outils pour faciliter la caract\u00e9risation des souris mutantes canadiennes et \u00e9tablir de nouvelles lign\u00e9es cellulaires de souris qui sont en forte demande partout dans le monde de la part des chercheurs universitaires et industriels.<\/li>\n<li>L\u2019\u00e9quipe de projet des interactions prot\u00e9ine\u00adprot\u00e9ine chez les mammif\u00e8res a mis au point des m\u00e9thodes \u00e0 haut rendement pour l\u2019\u00e9valuation quantitative des interactions prot\u00e9ine\u00adprot\u00e9ine dans des syst\u00e8mes cellulaires de mammif\u00e8res.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que des r\u00e9seaux complexes d\u2019interaction prot\u00e9ine\u00adprot\u00e9ine sont les principaux r\u00e9gulateurs des processus cellulaires, la cause sous\u00adjacente de nombreuses maladies humaines peut souvent \u00eatre reli\u00e9e \u00e0 des mutations qui nuisent \u00e0 l\u2019assemblage ou \u00e0 la fonction de ces r\u00e9seaux.
