La g\u00e9nomique et la biotechnologie peuvent contribuer \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre les probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 auxquels font face \u00e0 la fois les pays industrialis\u00e9s et les pays en d\u00e9veloppement, mais l\u2019\u00e9cart des savoirs ne cesse de grandir \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale. Le Programme canadien de g\u00e9nomique et de sant\u00e9 dans le monde a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis sur pied pour contribuer \u00e0 combler certains de ces \u00e9carts.<\/p>\n<p>Notre programme de g\u00e9nomique et de sant\u00e9 dans le monde de calibre mondial a influenc\u00e9 les d\u00e9cisions strat\u00e9giques f\u00e9d\u00e9rales et \u00e9trang\u00e8res, donn\u00e9 aux soci\u00e9t\u00e9s canadiennes de g\u00e9nomique et de biotechnologie davantage d\u2019occasions de s\u2019internationaliser et de prendre une place sur les nouveaux march\u00e9s \u00e9mergents, et de sensibiliser davantage le public aux utilisations et aux m\u00e9susages de la g\u00e9nomique pour r\u00e9soudre les probl\u00e8mes mondiaux de sant\u00e9.
