Phillips, de l\u2019Institut de cardiologie de Montr\u00e9al \u00e9galement et directeur de la pharmacog\u00e9nomique au Centre d\u2019innovation de G\u00e9nome Qu\u00e9bec et de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 McGill, sont les directeurs du projet Pharmacog\u00e9nomique de l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 des m\u00e9dicaments et toxicit\u00e9 du traitement des maladies cardiovasculaires.<\/p>\n<p>MM. Tardif et Phillips dirigeront une \u00e9quipe internationale de chercheurs cliniciens et de scientifiques qui s\u2019efforceront de r\u00e9soudre les probl\u00e8mes de r\u00e9actions aux m\u00e9dicaments dans la gestion des maladies cardiovasculaires, ce qui comprend les cardiopathies, l\u2019insuffisance cardiaque globale, l\u2019hypertension et les accidents c\u00e9r\u00e9brovasculaires (ACV). L\u2019\u00e9quipe du projet examinera la toxicit\u00e9 des m\u00e9dicaments hypolipid\u00e9miants, en particulier les statines, qui sont utilis\u00e9es pour traiter l\u2019ath\u00e9roscl\u00e9rose, la concentration de lipides ou de graisses qui r\u00e9tr\u00e9cissent ou bloquent les art\u00e8res. This project will support the scientific activities of the GRID project by helping to develop meaningful consent processes that will enhance the informed nature of prospective consent and the protection of participants\u2019 rights. Issues of access to stored tissues, confidentiality and coding will be explored, as will the type of explanations given to research participants. Planned activities include developing academic papers and policy statements on the prospective nature of informed consent, patient confidentiality and governance of DNA banks; hosting a number of working group meetings with key stakeholders to enable exchange of views and perspectives across different disciplines; holding public events and developing a number of public education materials to inform the broader public community about pharmacogenomics research; and archiving all research outputs on the HUMGEN Website<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aucun m\u00e9dicament ne convient \u00e0 tous les patients.
