De plus, l\u2019\u00e9mergence de champignons r\u00e9sistants \u00e0 ces m\u00e9dicaments et de graves probl\u00e8mes li\u00e9s \u00e0 leur toxicit\u00e9 en limitent l\u2019utilit\u00e9. Il est donc urgent de mettre au point une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de m\u00e9dicaments antifongiques qui offriront une efficacit\u00e9 et une s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sup\u00e9rieures pour une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de pathog\u00e8nes fongiques.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet D\u00e9couverte de m\u00e9dicaments \u00e0 l\u2019aide de la chimiog\u00e9nomique contre le pathog\u00e8ne, <em>Candida albicans<\/em>, fournira de nouveaux traitements th\u00e9rapeutiques pour les infections fongiques mortelles. \u00a0Elitra Canada Ltd., qui a re\u00e7u un financement dans le cadre du Concours II* de G\u00e9nome Canada\/G\u00e9nome Qu\u00e9bec, a utilis\u00e9 avec succ\u00e8s des strat\u00e9gies pan\u00adg\u00e9nomiques pour l\u2019identification de cibles cellulaires chez <em>C. albicans<\/em>. Cette approche, combin\u00e9e \u00e0 une analyse statistique des r\u00e9sultats, permet d\u2019interroger, en parall\u00e8le, chaque g\u00e8ne du pathog\u00e8ne quant \u00e0 son interaction avec un compos\u00e9 actif donn\u00e9. Le Fitness Test pan\u00adg\u00e9nomique fournira une vue d\u2019ensemble permettant une identification rapide du m\u00e9canisme d\u2019action de nouveaux compos\u00e9s actifs.
