On conna\u00eet encore tr\u00e8s peu l\u2019organogen\u00e8se \u2013 la p\u00e9riode au cours de laquelle l\u2019embryon, de m\u00eame que certains organes pr\u00e9cis et certains syst\u00e8mes se forment.<\/p>\n<p>M. Marco Marra, directeur du Genome Sciences Centre du BC Cancer Agency, et M<sup>me<\/sup> Pamela Hoodless, chercheure principale au Terry Fox Laboratory du BC Cancer Agency, sont les directeurs du projet Dissection des r\u00e9seaux de l\u2019expression des g\u00e8nes dans l\u2019organogen\u00e8se mammalienne. M. Marra et M<sup>me<\/sup> Hoodless ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 dirig\u00e9 un autre projet de G\u00e9nome Canada, l\u2019Atlas de l\u2019expression des g\u00e8nes chez la souris \u2013 une base de donn\u00e9es de biblioth\u00e8ques de g\u00e8nes exprim\u00e9s dans des tissus en d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019embryons murins. La souris est un organisme mod\u00e8le pr\u00e9cieux, dont le g\u00e9nome est tr\u00e8s semblable \u00e0 celui des humains.<\/p>\n<p>Dans ce nouveau projet, les deux chercheurs pr\u00e9voient se concentrer sur le d\u00e9veloppement de trois organes de l\u2019embryon murin \u2013 le c\u0153ur, le pancr\u00e9as et le foie. Ils \u00e9tudieront en particulier les tissus du c\u0153ur qui interviennent dans la formation des valvules et la septation (division ou cloisonnement), la formation des cellules s\u00e9cr\u00e9trices d&rsquo;insuline qui produisent les hormones dans le pancr\u00e9as et aident \u00e0 r\u00e9guler le niveau de sucre dans le sang, et sur les h\u00e9patocytes ou les cellules du foie. Ces trois tissus ont \u00e9t\u00e9 choisis comme objet de ce projet de recherche en raison de la souffrance humaine et des co\u00fbts des soins de sant\u00e9 li\u00e9s aux cardiopathies cong\u00e9nitales, ainsi que les maladies du foie et du pancr\u00e9as. National and international IP regimes are intended to serve the public good by being the foundation for economic value created by genomics. There are various forms of IP frameworks and Ed Levy, Cheryl Power (W.
