Lauchlan Fraser, Ph.D., de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Thompson Rivers (TRU), M. Heath Garris, Ph.D., boursier de recherches postdoctorales en sciences des ressources naturelles \u00e0 la TRU, et Mme Sue Baldwin, professeure au d\u00e9partement de g\u00e9nie chimique et biologique de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de la Colombie-Britannique.<\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: 20.8px;\">Les principaux objectifs du projet sont les suivants:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"line-height: 20.8px;\">d\u00e9terminer la probabilit\u00e9 de lixiviation des m\u00e9taux dans le bassin hydrographique \u00e0 long terme;<\/li>\n<li style=\"line-height: 20.8px;\">am\u00e9liorer les outils de surveillance de la biorem\u00e9diation passive du sol et de l&rsquo;eau;<\/li>\n<li style=\"line-height: 20.8px;\">\u00e9laborer des marqueurs mol\u00e9culaires de l&rsquo;enl\u00e8vement des m\u00e9taux et de la r\u00e9habilitation du sol;<\/li>\n<li style=\"line-height: 20.8px;\">proc\u00e9der \u00e0 des essais contr\u00f4l\u00e9s de bioaugmentation\/biostimulation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"line-height: 20.8px;\">Les autres bailleurs de fonds sont la mine de Mount Polley (Imperial Metals), le conseil de recherches en sciences naturelles et en g\u00e9nie du Canada (CRSNG) et Mitacs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ce projet de recherche, financ\u00e9 par Genome British Columbia (Genome BC) et G\u00e9nome Canada, vise \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les strat\u00e9gies de surveillance des r\u00e9percussions de la rupture du barrage du bassin de r\u00e9sidus de la mine de Mount Polley sur l&rsquo;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me et \u00e0 fournir des recommandations sur l&rsquo;assainissement des lieux.
