Dans certains cas, cette signature mol\u00e9culaire d\u00e9termine si un traitement m\u00e9dicamenteux donn\u00e9 s\u2019av\u00e9rera efficace ou non.<\/p>\n<p>AstraZeneca proc\u00e8de au d\u00e9veloppement clinique d\u2019un m\u00e9dicament anticanc\u00e9reux, l\u2019AZD5363, qui, d\u2019apr\u00e8s les analyses, interrompt la croissance des cellules tumorales en inhibant une prot\u00e9ine appel\u00e9e Akt. AstraZeneca et la communaut\u00e9 clinique veulent comprendre avec plus d\u2019exactitude quels patients sont les plus susceptibles de bien r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ce m\u00e9dicament et m\u00e8nent des travaux exploratoire sur les tissus tumoraux et le sang pour le d\u00e9terminer. Les essais cliniques en cours de l\u2019AZD5363 donnent la possibilit\u00e9 de valider l\u2019iMALDI et la prot\u00e9omique dans des \u00e9chantillons provenant de patients ayant des mutations de la voie de la kinase PI3\/Akt et de v\u00e9rifier la concordance de l\u2019iMALDi et d\u2019autres types d\u2019essais des mutations pour conna\u00eetre les signatures mol\u00e9culaires.<\/p>\n<p>Si iMALDI d\u00e9montre son utilit\u00e9 clinique, le test pourrait servir \u00e0 cibler les patients ayant des types sp\u00e9cifiques d\u2019activation des prot\u00e9ines et des voies pour enrichir les essais cliniques en y ajoutant ceux qui seront les plus susceptibles de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier du traitement \u00e0 l\u2019essai et \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer lesquels r\u00e9pondront le mieux aux inhibiteurs de l\u2019Akt, une fois approuv\u00e9.
