Les essais bas\u00e9s sur la cytom\u00e9trie en flux sont maintenant largement utilis\u00e9s en recherche en sant\u00e9 et sont importants pour le diagnostic des cancers du sang, la surveillance des infections virales (p.\u00a0ex., le VIH), la mise au point de vaccins et la recherche sur les cellules souches. La technologie de cytom\u00e9trie en flux s\u2019\u00e9tant am\u00e9lior\u00e9e au fil des ans, le volume de donn\u00e9es qu\u2019elle produit par cellule a plus que quintupl\u00e9, \u00e0 tel point qu\u2019il est \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s impossible d\u2019analyser manuellement ces donn\u00e9es, sans passer \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 d\u2019une grande partie de l\u2019information contenue dans ces cellules. Pour exploiter la puissance des m\u00e9gadonn\u00e9es de la cytom\u00e9trie en flux, il faut mettre au point et diffuser largement des outils d\u2019analyse et des m\u00e9thodes statistiques.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan Brinkman, Ph.\u00a0D. (BC Cancer Agency), Cedric Chauve, Ph.\u00a0D. (Universit\u00e9 Simon Fraser), et Sara Mostafavi, Ph.\u00a0D. (UBC) mettent au point une approche sous forme de graphiques faciles \u00e0 utiliser pour repr\u00e9senter l\u2019information produite par la cytom\u00e9trie en flux, de m\u00eame que de nouvelles approches pour l\u2019identification des populations cellulaires supervis\u00e9es et non supervis\u00e9es.
