Il faudra pouvoir utiliser efficacement ces donn\u00e9es pour am\u00e9liorer et g\u00e9rer ces cultures afin de nourrir et abriter un monde qui comptera neuf milliards de personnes d\u2019ici 2050 et lui fournir de l\u2019\u00e9nergie dont il aura besoin.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019ePlant Framework, mis au point gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une subvention pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente de G\u00e9nome\u00a0Canada, permet aux chercheurs de voir facilement o\u00f9 et quand un g\u00e8ne est \u00ab\u00a0actif\u00a0\u00bb et si des variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques naturelles pourraient faire en sorte qu\u2019il fasse mieux son \u00ab\u00a0travail\u00a0\u00bb; ce cadre ne contient actuellement des donn\u00e9es que sur une seule esp\u00e8ce et il faut maintenant des donn\u00e9es sur d\u2019autres esp\u00e8ces. Le chercheur principal, Nicholas Provart, Ph.\u00a0D. (Universit\u00e9 de Toronto), envisage de mettre au point un ePlant Pipeline pour faciliter la cr\u00e9ation de n\u2019importe quelle ePlant, en se fondant sur des donn\u00e9es g\u00e9nomiques ou des s\u00e9quences exomiques. L\u2019ePlant Navigator permettra des comparaisons entre cultivars et entre esp\u00e8ces, ce qui permettra d\u2019\u00e9tablir des hypoth\u00e8ses solides.
