Cet objectif ne peut \u00eatre atteint qu\u2019avec une compr\u00e9hension approfondie des variations g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques normales (p.\u00a0ex., le projet 1000\u00a0g\u00e9nomes). La cl\u00e9 de l\u2019organisation de ces donn\u00e9es d\u2019aussi grande envergure dans une structure informatique commode r\u00e9side dans un g\u00e9nome de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence. Ce dernier \u00e9quivaudra \u00e0 l\u2019image d\u2019un casse-t\u00eate une fois termin\u00e9 \u2013 il acc\u00e9l\u00e9rera le placement des pi\u00e8ces.<\/p>\n<p>Wyeth Wasserman, Ph.\u00a0D., de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de la Colombie-Britannique mettra en \u0153uvre un nouveau mod\u00e8le graphique, le GNOmics Genome Model\u00a0(GGM), pour repr\u00e9senter le g\u00e9nome humain et d\u2019autres donn\u00e9es g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques. GNOmics est un acronyme pour graphique et \u00ab\u00a0omique\u00a0\u00bb (Graphs \u2018N\u2019 Omics) un nom d\u00e9pos\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour la recherche et ax\u00e9 sur le nouveau mod\u00e8le graphique sous-jacent. L\u2019\u00e9quipe du projet \u00e9laborera un nouveau cadre informatique robuste pour l\u2019analyse des variations g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques qui contiendra une base de donn\u00e9es de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence unifi\u00e9es, des donn\u00e9es g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques publiques, et remplacera les g\u00e9nomes de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence textuels. Le cadre comprendra \u00e9galement des algorithmes pour la d\u00e9tection et l\u2019analyse des variations des s\u00e9quences d\u2019ADN soit pour l\u2019assemblage et l\u2019annotation de donn\u00e9es de s\u00e9quence g\u00e9nomique individuelle, soit entre des g\u00e9nomes assembl\u00e9s multiples.
