M\u00eame si les \u00e9chantillons sanguins procurent des renseignements vitaux, ils ne sont pas utilis\u00e9s \u00e0 leur plein potentiel. Le s\u00e9quen\u00e7age de l\u2019ARN dans le sang est une nouvelle technologie qui donne un instantan\u00e9 de tous les g\u00e8nes actifs dans les cellules sanguines d\u2019un patient. Cet instantan\u00e9 peut nous dire l\u2019\u00e9tat actuel du syst\u00e8me immunitaire du patient, r\u00e9v\u00e9ler la pr\u00e9sence de cellules canc\u00e9reuses dans le sang et indiquer si les cellules sanguines luttent contre une infection. Le s\u00e9quen\u00e7age de l\u2019ARN pourrait jouer un r\u00f4le dans les diagnostics courants, mais il faut d\u2019importantes innovations pour que cette technologie clinique v\u00e9ritablement nouvelle puisse voir le jour.<\/p>\n<p>Drs Michael Wilson et Adam Shlien de l\u2019H\u00f4pital pour enfants malades de Toronto dirigent une \u00e9quipe qui mettra en \u0153uvre une s\u00e9rie d\u2019innovations techniques et g\u00e9n\u00e9matiques qui deviendront collectivement un test clinique fond\u00e9 sur l\u2019ARN appel\u00e9 SANGRE (analyse syst\u00e9matique de la r\u00e9gulation g\u00e9n\u00e9tique dans le sang). La mise en \u0153uvre de SANGRE exigera une convergence harmonieuse de nombreuses technologies, mais fournira une puissance in\u00e9dite d\u2019utilisation de l\u2019expression de l\u2019ARN dans un test courant et de prix abordable.<\/p>\n<p>La puissance de SANGRE vient de son \u00e9volutivit\u00e9 qui favorisera la d\u00e9couverte de nouveaux mod\u00e8les de mol\u00e9cules d\u2019ARN qui pourraient servir \u00e0 mieux diagnostiquer la maladie. SANGRE fournira un registre num\u00e9rique complexe des maladies et des traitements d\u2019un patient. L\u2019\u00e9quipe se concentrera d\u2019abord sur la d\u00e9tection des signatures de la leuc\u00e9mie dans le sang entier.
