Il est pourtant impossible de tester toutes les associations de m\u00e9dicaments dans les essais cliniques en raison du co\u00fbt \u00e9lev\u00e9 des ressources n\u00e9cessaires et de certaines consid\u00e9rations \u00e9thiques. Des techniques informatiques sont donc n\u00e9cessaires pour mod\u00e9liser la grande quantit\u00e9 de donn\u00e9es disponibles pour am\u00e9liorer les strat\u00e9gies actuelles de traitement du cancer et proposer des associations plus efficaces des m\u00e9dicaments.<\/p>\n<p>Benjamin Haibe-Kains, Ph. D., du Princess Margaret Cancer Centre met au point SYNERGx, une nouvelle plateforme informatique qui int\u00e9grera des ensembles de donn\u00e9es pharmacog\u00e9nomiques multiples. Ces ensembles de donn\u00e9es serviront \u00e0 pr\u00e9dire les associations possibles de m\u00e9dicaments connus qui peuvent agir en synergie, ce qui signifie que leur efficacit\u00e9 th\u00e9rapeutique combin\u00e9e est sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 la somme de leurs effets individuels.<\/p>\n<p>La plateforme utilisera des outils d\u2019analyse pour am\u00e9liorer la mod\u00e9lisation des effets synergiques des m\u00e9dicaments. Les utilisateurs auront acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des donn\u00e9es pharmacog\u00e9n\u00e9tiques de haute qualit\u00e9 sur l\u2019association de m\u00e9dicaments et \u00e0 un pipeline d\u2019apprentissage machine en acc\u00e8s libre pour la pr\u00e9diction des synergies m\u00e9dicamenteuses. SYNERGx mettra \u00e9galement en \u0153uvre une nouvelle fa\u00e7on d\u2019optimiser les \u00e9tudes de s\u00e9lection pr\u00e9liminaire des m\u00e9dicaments pour identifier les nouvelles associations synergiques qui pourront ensuite \u00eatre valid\u00e9es dans des \u00e9tudes pr\u00e9cliniques et cliniques.<\/p>\n<p>SYNERGx offrira un moyen efficace de mettre \u00e0 profit les investissements consid\u00e9rables faits dans les \u00e9tudes pharmacog\u00e9nomiques en permettant l\u2019int\u00e9gration d\u2019ensembles de donn\u00e9es autrement disparates.
