Afin de g\u00e9rer les m\u00e9gadonn\u00e9es de la m\u00e9tabolomique, les chercheurs ont un besoin urgent d\u2019outils bio-informatiques \u00e0 haut rendement et faciles \u00e0 utiliser pour le traitement, l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation et l\u2019int\u00e9gration aux autres donn\u00e9es \u00ab omiques \u00bb des donn\u00e9es brutes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 la lumi\u00e8re de leur r\u00e9ussite ant\u00e9rieure avec des plateformes en ligne pour l\u2019analyse de donn\u00e9es \u00ab omiques \u00bb sur la sant\u00e9 humaine, Jianguo Xia, Ph. D., et Guillaume Bourque, Ph. D., de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 McGill, ainsi que Pierre-\u00c9tienne Jacques, Ph. D., de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke, \u00e9laborent SystemsAnalyst, une plateforme informatique de nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration int\u00e9grant des ressources de Calcul Canada et du nuage public aux plus r\u00e9centes technologies d\u2019analytique visuelle. Leur objectif est de cr\u00e9er un guichet unique permettant d\u2019effectuer des analyses efficaces, transparentes et reproductibles de grandes quantit\u00e9s de donn\u00e9es en vue de soutenir la m\u00e9tabolomique des syst\u00e8mes et l\u2019int\u00e9gration des donn\u00e9es multi-omiques.<\/p>\n<p>SystemsAnalyst profitera directement aux cliniciens et aux biologistes de laboratoire en fournissant une puissante plateforme conviviale qui viendra pallier les lacunes actuelles en bio-informatique pour les \u00e9tudes m\u00e9tabolomiques et multi-omiques. Des \u00e9tudes de cas sur la malaria et la maladie intestinale inflammatoire faciliteront l\u2019identification d\u2019importants biomarqueurs, de voies cl\u00e9s et de processus biologiques qui jouent des r\u00f4les de premier plan dans ces maladies, en vue de contribuer \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9laboration de nouvelles strat\u00e9gies th\u00e9rapeutiques. Le projet permettra de former au moins 10 employ\u00e9s hautement qualifi\u00e9s, dont le milieu a besoin de toute urgence pour l\u2019analyse et la mod\u00e9lisation de donn\u00e9es multi-omiques.
