Toutefois, en raison de la surutilisation des antibiotiques dans le pass\u00e9, certaines bact\u00e9ries sont devenues r\u00e9sistantes \u00e0 ces m\u00e9dicaments, pavant la voie \u00e0 une crise de l\u2019antibior\u00e9sistance. Ce projet vise \u00e0 utiliser des outils g\u00e9nomiques pour mettre au point des options de rechange aux antibiotiques fond\u00e9es sur des prot\u00e9ines d\u2019origine naturelle, appel\u00e9es peptides antimicrobiens (PAM), produites par un certain nombre d\u2019esp\u00e8ces pour combattre les infections bact\u00e9riennes. Des donn\u00e9es montrent que les PAM sont efficaces et moins susceptibles de mener \u00e0 une r\u00e9sistance bact\u00e9rienne que les antibiotiques classiques. L\u2019\u00e9quipe souhaite d\u00e9couvrir dix PAM efficaces et s\u00fbrs et utilisera des \u0153ufs de poule pour v\u00e9rifier la protection conf\u00e9r\u00e9e par les PAM contre d\u2019importantes maladies infectieuses qui pr\u00e9occupent actuellement l\u2019industrie avicole. L\u2019\u00e9quipe r\u00e9alisera aussi une analyse approfondie des enjeux \u00e9conomiques, \u00e9thiques et r\u00e9glementaires li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation des PAM en agriculture et \u00e9valuera les opinions d\u2019intervenants provenant des industries agricole et alimentaire de m\u00eame que du grand public.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Les antibiotiques sont couramment utilis\u00e9s en agriculture.
