Shanty George provides guidance and coaching to Genome Canada staff in areas such as employee relations, recruitment, compensation and benefits, and general human resources operations.
She has significant experience in all facets of human resources. Her strength lies in her diverse experience with organizations spanning sectors such as health care, medical devices, telecommunications, high tech, manufacturing and various non-governmental organizations. Her passion for working with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) prompted her to pursue her career as a human resources business partner serving SMEs in the not-for-profit and private sector.
Shanty has a graduate certificate in human resources management and a B.A.Sc. in family studies and human development from the University of Guelph.
